The Assembly is the branch of state government that most represents local communities. At this time of difficulty for State and Federal government, it's especially important that individuals and their neighborhoods have a powerful voice in decisions that affect them. As the Libertarian candidate for District 12, I will prioritize the needs of District 12 over special interests, public or private.
As your representative in the Assembly, I will work hard to 1) Retain and manage local funds in the community 2) Expand local control over Education 3) Encourage economic and job growth in the local Small Business sector 4) Reward individual and community service 5) Reduce the negative influences of government in our district.
For years, the interests of our local communities and small businesses have not been heard in Sacramento. Yet, statistics show that these institutions are the ONLY engines of economic growth and new jobs for Californians. We know that our incumbent institutions do not represent our interests. And due to partisan politics, our valuable resources and rights are being squandered away. The time has come for a change.
As a business owner with an active family life, a sense of responsibility and good management are second nature. With years of experience working with communities and organizations, the citizens of District 12 can be assured that their interests will be carefully and professionally represented. As a Libertarian, voters know that protecting their private and local community interests will be my highest priority.
